Friday schedule
No new work will be given on Fridays. During Friday "flex" time, please check to make sure all weekly assignments are completed. Next, please complete your paper work practice packet that was sent home on March 13. If you have finished all, please complete other practice today toward meeting grade level expectations...
Here are some ideas:
..............................................................................................................................................................................................
+ All students should continue to READ every day for 20-30 minutes (or more) using books from home. We have read at home daily all year and everyone needs to please keep this up. This is so important to our growth as first grade readers!
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
All students who are still IN PROGRESS on first grade sight words (reading less than 200 words at this time), need to study and review sight words daily to continue to make progress. Please include SIGHT WORD PRACTICE after your child's 60 minutes of daily assignments is completed. Our grade level standard is to read 200 or more words by early May. Please make sure your child is practicing daily to meet this very important goal!
