- Students need to please write in their writing journal for 15 mins. each day this week. Please remember to use best handwriting and self-edit. Try to spell all sight words and first grade level words correctly. If you are caught up on the April writing calendar, first graders may complete FREE CHOICE writing this week! Use your Topics Heart at the front of your journal for writing ideas! Any students who did not complete all of the April writing calendar may use this week to catch up on writing.
- On Fridays, please make sure your assignments are completed, then use any extra time for practice in meeting grade level expectations in reading, writing, or math.
- Everyone please continue to R E A D each day after your assignments are completed. We are reading 30 mins. or more each day now as we approach the end of the first grade year.
- Students, please study your SIGHT WORDS and MATH FACTS as needed! The grade level expectation is 200+ sight words at this time.
